Which videos work best?
The ones with conversation: podcasts, interviews, talks, classes or streams. Clipaso picks moments based on what's said, so it needs dialogue.
What else can I do besides clips?
Caption a whole video (translated too), remove its silences and fillers like "um" or "uh", convert it to another format (TikTok to YouTube, for example), cut a short trailer to promote it, turn audio (a podcast) into a video with an animated waveform, get the transcript, a summary, YouTube chapters, a blog post and social posts, and generate a YouTube thumbnail and a TikTok cover. The thumbnail doesn't need the video to be uploaded and doesn't use minutes.
How long does it take?
A few minutes for a half-hour video. We email you when it's ready, so you can close the tab.
Can I edit the clips?
Yes. In the editor you can move the start and end, fix caption words, add or remove captions, change the style and the cover, and generate the clip again. You can also ask for more clips from the same video without using minutes.
Which languages does it support?
Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian and German, among others, and it can detect the language automatically. Captions can be translated into Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian, German or Catalan.
Do you use my videos to train AI?
No. Your videos are processed on servers in the European Union only to give you the result, and the original and everything generated are deleted automatically when the project expires (or sooner, if you delete it). The AI that picks moments and writes copy only receives the transcribed text and a few frames, and doesn't use them for training.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. The Free plan includes 20 minutes of video a month, with no card and no commitment.
